Qantas is a flag carrier of Australia and the largest airline of the country. Founded in 1920, Qantas is third oldest airline in world in the terms of operating. Airline flew it’s first scheduled flight on November 2, 1922.

Airline’s main hub is in Sydney airport, which is the largest airport of the Country. Australian flag carrier operates on domestic and international flights to more than 103 destinations.

Australian flag carrier offers to it’s passengers the following travel classes: Economy, Premium Economy, Business and First class.

Economy Class

Baggage Allowance for Qantas

Weight for carry-on baggage should be 14kg but each piece shouldn’t exceed 10kg. Restrictions for checked-baggage vary depending on cabin classes.

Checked-baggage Allowance for international flights:

Economy: 2 x 23kg (50lbs) each

Premium Economy: 2 x 23kg (50lbs) each

Business: 3 x 32kg (70lbs) each

First: 3 x 32kg (70lbs) each

Checked-baggage Allowance for domestic flights

Economy: 1 x 23kg (50lbs)

Business: 2 x 32kg (70lbs) each

Qantas Check-in

You can check-in online for flights 24 hours before the flight. For more convenience, you can use Qantas App. Remember, that online check-in closes 30 minutes before the flight for domestic flights and 90 minutes before for international flights.
